Job Description:

CH-47F MTP - Maintenance Test Pilot responsible for all matters related to CH-47 maintenance operations.

Preferred: Minimum of 1,000 hours of total PIC time; Required: Minimum of 300 hours of PIC on the CH-47F.

Must have satisfactorily completed a proficiency check within the past 12 months and be qualified in the CH-47F.

US Citizenship is required to obtain the US Govt Secret Clearance and for access to facilities and bases.

A valid US Passport is required for travel to Germany.

Responsibilities include ensuring maintenance compliance, completing no-notice flight evaluations, remaining qualified as a crewmember, testing aircraft for compliance, operating test aircraft, coordinating flight operations, overseeing maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1,000 hours of total PIC time (preferred); 300 hours PIC on CH-47F (required).
• Completion of a military technical school or specialized training (preferred).
• Completion of Army Maintenance Test Pilots Course (MTPC) or equivalent, qualified per AR 95-1 and 95-20.
• FAA Class II flight physical, valid and current.
• FAA Rotorcraft Commercial Pilot Certificate with instrument rating.
• In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and US Army maintenance procedures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required.
• Germany-specific: Ability to qualify for TESA approval with 5 years of aviation maintenance experience; willingness to travel as needed.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Effective communication in English.
• Proven aviation experience with high standards of professionalism and ethics.
• Operational knowledge of aircraft navigation and communication equipment.
• Ability to compute and annotate aircraft weight and balance logs.

Physical and Working Environment:

• Exposure to noise, fumes, electrical hazards, extreme weather, and operational hazards.
• Physical ability to climb aircraft steps, lift weights, and distinguish colors.
