As a member of the legal team of the group’s holding company, you will be involved in activities conducted across several countries, including:
- Identifying, preventing, and mitigating legal risks that may affect the Encevo Group companies.
- Advising and assisting the Encevo Group companies on legal aspects of their activities in various areas such as business law, energy law, and mergers & acquisitions.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, and participating in negotiations with business units.
- Conducting legal risk analyses and providing legal opinions and recommendations to business units and management.
- Collaborating in establishing structures and following up on legal aspects of operational integration of subsidiaries, especially in mergers and acquisitions.
- Managing litigation with support from external counsels when required.
- Participating in legal monitoring, training, and contributing to knowledge management within the legal department, implementing developments within the Group’s entities.
- Participating in drafting and implementing internal procedures.
Your profile
- You hold a Master's degree or equivalent in Law (with a focus on commercial, corporate, or business law) obtained in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, or Germany.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a law firm and/or a larger company.
- You possess sound knowledge of business law (commercial, corporate, insolvency), with good knowledge in competition law, new technology law, and/or public procurement law being advantageous. Knowledge of Luxembourgish law or energy law is a plus but not mandatory.
- You have a high capacity for analysis and synthesis, and can manage projects and priorities effectively.
- You are proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented with a strong team spirit.
- You have highly effective verbal and written communication skills in French and English. Knowledge of German or Dutch is considered an advantage.
