Position: Software Engineer for Android Automotive OS (AAOS)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate basic software components for control units in an agile team.
  • Improve and develop processes, methods, and tools within BSW development.
  • Design and implement software components and integrate them into control unit architectures, collaborating with external suppliers and open source code.
  • Create and execute developer and regression tests.
  • Document software components and manage releases for unit testing.
  • Act as a contact point for issues related to requirements or errors.
  • Participate in the continuous development of processes and tools to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Work on integrating CentralVehicleManager-Unit with AUTOSAR and adaptive AUTOSAR systems.

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in electronic control unit development.
  • Expertise in Android Automotive OS and applications.
  • Knowledge of microcontroller architectures, high-performance platforms, SOA, other OS in automotive environments, software components, driver development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Experience with adaptive AUTOSAR is desirable.
  • Knowledge of automotive diagnostics (DoIP, UDS), bus systems (Ethernet, CAN).
  • Understanding of ISO 26262 and V-model development processes is advantageous.
  • Experience with CI tools (Docker, Gitlab, Conan, CMake).
  • Additional programming skills (Matlab-Simulink, Python, Java, etc.) are a plus.

Personal qualities: Reliable, precise, open to new challenges.

Language skills: German and English.
