VOLTARIS GmbH is the expert for all services in classic and smart metering. As part of the VSE and PFALZWERKE Group, we are the point of contact for energy suppliers, grid operators, trade and industry. We also develop modular solutions along the entire process chain of basic and competitive metering point operation: device management, gateway administration, metering and energy data management for all market roles as well as value-added services such as submetering, visualization and control.

To support the management team at our locations (Maxdorf or Merzig), we are looking for a

Information Security Management Officer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Further development and maintenance of the ISMS and its processes in accordance with ISO 27001 and comparable standards
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the area of information security
• Support with compliance management
• Technical management of the employees entrusted with ISMS within the framework of the specified ISMS and company objectives
• Advising and raising the awareness of management and specialist departments on information security issues
• Planning, implementation and monitoring of security measures to minimize risks
• Creating, updating and reviewing security guidelines and concepts
• Management, implementation and monitoring of internal and external audits as part of ISMS certification
• Monitoring and analyzing security incidents and developing countermeasures
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve security measures
• Regular implementation of training and awareness measures for employees
  
  

Your Profile

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, IT security or a comparable field of study or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
• Sound knowledge of information security and ideally experience with ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz
• Experience in conducting and accompanying audits
• Familiarity with current security threats, security architectures and protective measures
• Understanding of IT infrastructures, network security and data protection
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills to assess and evaluate security risks
• High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex issues in an understandable way
• Persuasiveness and a confident manner towards employees and management as well as external auditors
• Structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working
• Confidentiality and a high level of sensitivity when handling security-critical information
