Based in Amstelveen, a specialist in the development and sale of Asian food is expanding their business. They are currently seeking an IT Manager who can thrive in an international working environment and has a hands-on type of leadership as an independent Manager. Business trips within Europe, and occasionally to Tokyo, are required.

TYPE: Full-time role, initially 1 year contract (there is potential to become permanent)
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30, Monday to Friday
SALARY: €70-100k per annum, depending on experience (including 1 month bonus and holiday allowance)
START: ASAP (TBD)
LOCATION: Amstelveen, the Netherlands (After training, 1 day working from home is acceptable)
Benefit: transportation fee, pension, 25 days annual leave

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct report to CEO or CFO, Dotted report to Global CIO
- IT Project Management (Lead and coordinate IT projects and initiatives)
- IT Infrastructure Management (Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security)
- ERP System Administration (Oversee the system upgrades and daily maintenance.)
- IT Security (Implement and maintain Global IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the company's data, systems, and networks from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations)
- Business Continuity Planning (Implement and maintain Global BCP plans)
- Vendor Management (Manage IT vendors, service providers, and consultants, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions)

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 5+ years of experience in IT management roles
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure (networking), cybersecurity, Azure AD and ERP systems (especially for SAP Business One)
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus
- Experience leading projects across countries is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Some understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language would be advantageous
- Some Dutch or other European language would be also advantageous
