Job Description
Our client is an established manufacturer of plastics for OEM and Tier 1 automotive customers. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Manager for their operations in Germany.
Required Education and Experience
- MBA in business administration, finance, economy, or engineering
- 5+ years experience in the Automotive Industry
- 5+ years experience in Automotive Sales and Marketing, working directly with OEMs and Tier 1 Customers
- Active network with BMW, Stellantis, and Seat
- Knowledge of plastic-related markets and injection molding production (drawing requirements, tolerances, materials, production processes, pricing methods)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLM (Teams center Siemens), ERP (Priority), etc.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop new accounts and manage strategic account sections
- Translate sales and marketing plans into actionable strategies
- Execute plans effectively, managing day-to-day activities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Improve account profitability
- Coordinate with departments to meet customer expectations
- Act as primary contact for customer pre-sale and post-sale activities
- Participate in customer evaluations for new and existing projects
- Manage RFQ activities and resource planning
- Propose and present quotations, lead negotiations
- Lead customer meetings and negotiations
- Facilitate communication between sales, marketing, HQ, and production
- Lead annual price negotiations and claim management
- Monitor competition and market share
