Job Description:

As an Account Manager for Metal Framing & Pipe Supports (MF&PS), you will serve existing customers and identify new growth opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and support business growth. Develop strong relationships with key partners, end-users, OEMs, and other stakeholders to ensure our MF&PS products are specified and purchased, meeting sales targets.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will implement the regional MF&PS strategy in Germany and meet your set targets. This position is based in Germany.

  1. As an ambitious sales professional with a proactive mindset, you will achieve business goals and drive growth within your region using your in-depth product knowledge.
  2. Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with regional and European objectives.
  3. Analyze market opportunities to maximize margins and increase market share.
  4. Seek synergy opportunities across business units, including process improvements, shared resources, and cross-selling.
  5. Understand our products thoroughly and advise clients accordingly.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with distribution partners to understand local market dynamics.
  7. Drive sales excellence and performance across channels.
  8. Ensure pricing policies are followed for each sales channel.
  9. Forecast and report sales volumes regularly.
  10. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services, and other teams to stay informed of market trends and issues.
  11. Participate in seminars, trade shows, and industry conferences.
  12. Use our CRM tools effectively for sales activities and account management.
  13. Work collaboratively as part of the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry, with in-depth product knowledge.
  • Strong technical, commercial, and strategic skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce.com and SAP experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
