We are seeking a highly qualified and innovative CNC Control Systems Specialist (m/w/d) for our Research & Development team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing advanced CNC solutions, optimizing control systems, and advancing manufacturing technology. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of manufacturing in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

1. Development of Control Systems: Design, program, and optimize CNC control systems to improve efficiency, precision, and flexibility in manufacturing processes.
2. Innovation & Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test prototypes for new CNC technologies.
3. Troubleshooting & Analysis: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to CNC systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
4. R&D Projects: Contribute to research initiatives focused on improving CNC automation, software integration, and system functionality.
5. Documentation & Standards: Develop comprehensive documentation for CNC control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
6. Training & Support: Provide technical expertise and training to internal teams and end-users on CNC control functions and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with CNC control systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of G-Code, M-Code, PLC programming, and CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with leading CNC machine manufacturers (e.g., FANUC, Siemens, Heidenhain, Beckhoff).
• Practical experience with control algorithms, signal processing, and system integration.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience with IoT, Industry 4.0, or smart manufacturing technologies, as well as advanced simulation and modal/shock analysis tools, is a plus.
