Our Sales Manager works in an international team of tech experts with flat hierarchies and high team spirits. Depending on your area of responsibility, you will be tasked to visit sales locations during the induction phase while getting to know the company and team on site.

During our development program and on-the-job training, you will grow accustomed to teamwork. The work involves meeting a wide range of major customers from various industries, typically done in teams. You will be assigned to develop tailor-made product solutions based on the client’s requirements.

Your Responsibilities
  • For our ESL & IoT Division (www.solumesl.com), you will assume the national and European revenue responsibility for key customers in different sales markets, with approximately 70% travel.
  • After technical training, you will participate with our senior managers in customer discussions, contract preparations, and negotiations, eventually handling them independently.
  • You will be responsible for your assigned customers and will build your network by acquiring new customers.
  • You will identify potential new customers from retail, industrial, or similar B2B environments and establish contact with decision-makers.
  • Each customer is unique, and so are our solutions. You will determine needs and coordinate test pilots with our technical team at the customer’s proof of concept (PoC).
  • You will support your team in implementing complex customer projects and develop your expertise.
  • In collaboration with our App Development Team, Project and Product Managers, and Controlling, you will process tenders and create offers.
  • You will represent SOLUM and our innovative products at trade fairs and events to expand your customer network.
  • You will analyze the market systematically, create forecasts, and document your sales activities in team meetings and on our internal project management tool, Notion.
Your Qualifications
  • Excellent command of Danish and English.
  • Self-motivated, structured, and oriented towards teamwork, with a business and project approach.
  • Interest in new product domains.
  • Sales experience in IT is a plus but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Affinity for technical products and solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication skills, and assertiveness.
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and openness to new tasks.
  • Ability to develop and maintain trusting, sustainable business relationships.
  • Analytical and creative thinking skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Completion of commercial studies or equivalent training.
