Product Lead Engineer Assembly EUR (M/F/D)

Objective

If you are interested in developing forward-looking solutions "on the road" as part of our innovative and collaborative team at the interface of product development, customer, and production, this role offers an exciting challenge.

Main Responsibilities

1. Feasibility Analysis: Conduct comprehensive feasibility analyses, including defining manufacturing processes, detailed product analysis, tooling and fixture requirements, and collaboration with experts on process steps, cycle times, and equipment. Support negotiations with customers and suppliers. Collaborate with plant engineering and operations for technical reviews, focusing on equipment planning and staffing. Lead internal and external teams to gather information. Prepare RFQ documents for components and processes.
2. Customer Technical Contact: Act as the main technical contact during program acquisition, project setup, and concept phases. Coordinate RFQ processes, lead technical reviews with customers, and represent the technical aspects in customer meetings and reviews. Prepare and present technical information internally and externally.

Position Requirements

• Engineering degree, preferably in production or mechanical engineering
• Relevant experience in automotive or manufacturing industries
• Proficiency in product and process development results
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multinational environment and represent Nemak to customers
• Quick understanding of complex technical relationships and requirements
• Ability to translate technical requirements into production technologies
• Enthusiastic team player with systematic working style and excellent communication skills in German and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally (around 30%)
