As a Manufacturing Engineer in our fabrication department, you play a crucial role in the preparation and planning of production processes for our international production network. You are responsible for ensuring the availability, completeness, and correctness of input data for production from engineering and other departments.

Responsibilities:

1. Support fabrication processes, including New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring that processes and changes such as drawings, standards, and the manufacturing Bill of Material are designed for manufacturability and released on time.
2. Develop, analyze, and manage manufacturing and assembly projects. Troubleshoot process issues, initiate solutions, and evaluate their effectiveness for international production facilities.
3. Support the setup of PLM and ERP systems, transfer Engineering Bill of Material into Manufacturing Bill of Material, and configure it according to different production facilities' criteria.
4. Transfer Bill of Material from PLM to ERP, including setting up routings for internal and external processes.
5. Prepare and manage production orders in ERP.
6. Analyze engineering change notices, determine necessary part or process changes, and implement them effectively.
7. Maintain fabrication-related master data in ERP.
8. Collaborate with internal and external suppliers on strategically important projects to ensure efficient, cost-effective production systems and processes.

Profile:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in Business and Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Experience with Siemens Teamcenter is beneficial.
4. Proficiency in MS Dynamics, SAP R/3, or other ERP systems related to production; also proficient in MS Office tools.
5. Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.
6. Ability to develop strategic concepts, negotiate, and synthesize different views into cohesive solutions.
7. Excellent communication skills in English and German.
8. Willingness to undertake short support trips within our international network.
