For the winter term of 2025/26, we are seeking a professor (m/f/d) for the degree program Marketing at IU International University, limited to 2 years at our campus in Berlin, full-time (5 days on campus) or part-time (4 days on campus), starting on October 1st, 2025.

• You represent the field of Marketing in teaching and research within the bachelor's degree program and become part of an extensive network in higher education.
• You develop and lead face-to-face lectures on campus and are responsible for the individual supervision of students during exams and thesis preparation.
• You teach practice-oriented fundamental knowledge in Marketing and can train students in areas like International Marketing and International Brand Management.
• You contribute to the creative development of teaching formats within IU’s didactic concept and collaborate with colleagues to further develop these formats.

Your Profile

At IU, we focus on delivering practical knowledge. We seek an expert in Marketing with professional experience, scientific expertise, and didactic skills to enhance our teaching.

• You hold a university degree in Marketing or a related field with outstanding academic performance and a relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D.).
• You have at least five years of practical work experience, including three years outside academia, with initial teaching experience being a plus.
• You demonstrate expertise through publications or projects.
• You are team-oriented, reliable, and committed to in-person and virtual teaching.
• You reside permanently in Germany.
• You possess English skills at C1 level (CEFR).

The employment is governed by the Higher Education Law Thüringen.
