for the IT support of the district's own schools
(full-time, possibly part-time; permanent)
Your Tasks
IT support for the district's schools includes the following areas of responsibility:
- Administration, maintenance and optimization of the network infrastructure (routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VoIP, Radius, content filters, anti-malware, etc.)
- Configuration and management of switches (Dell, HPE Comware, Huawei)
- CCNA certification or comparable knowledge is an advantage
- Support and maintenance of firewall systems
- Documentation and process optimization, ideally according to the ITIL standard
- Administration and operation of virtualization solutions (VMware, Proxmox)
- Installation and technical support of software, in particular educational school software with the help of deployment tools
- First and second level support
- In-depth knowledge of the administration and support of Microsoft technologies, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 (M365), Active Directory (AD), Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and MS Office
- Maintenance of media education equipment in classrooms and IT rooms such as tablets, interactive whiteboard systems, projectors, etc.
- Commissioning, installation and rollout of computers, notebooks and associated peripherals with the help of operating system deployment tools
- Training of users and users
Your Profile
- Completed training in a recognized IT profession such as IT specialist for system integration, IT system electronics technician or information electronics technician or many years of equivalent work in comparable areas of responsibility, e.g. in system houses
- Professional experience and good to very good specialist knowledge in as many of the above-mentioned areas as possible
- Class B driving license
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Ability to organize and work in a team
- Social skills, motivation, flexibility and commitment
