Qualifikationen

Job Description

As a Field Quality Engineer (FQE), you will own and manage the customer product return process for quality and reliability issues for the EMEIA region. While advocating for TI's product quality, FQEs are the primary interface to customers and interact with TI product lines, manufacturing sites, and central quality organizations on a daily basis. You’ll be part of a very diverse and experienced team of Field Quality and Field Quality Application Engineers.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage the customer product return process for quality and reliability issues. Review, triage, and close customer returns efficiently.
2. Lead problem resolution and interface with TI’s business units and manufacturing sites to ensure that products meet or exceed TI’s quality and reliability standards.
3. Provide support to understand and clarify device quality issues in customer applications.
4. Manage automotive, industrial, and consumer quality performance expectations.
5. Drive quality improvement through learning from customer issues and scorecards.
6. Conduct data analysis to identify emerging quality issues, and help develop automated reporting tools for cross-functional communication.
7. Prioritize and communicate TI Values & Culture, reflecting them in front of customers.
8. Minimum education: Master’s degree in Electronics, Physics, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Technical knowledge of semiconductor technologies, products, and failure analysis.
2. Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
3. Project management skills – able to balance priorities efficiently.
4. Strong analytical mindset (data analyst) and scripting knowledge.
5. Structured and independent work style, comfortable making decisions.
6. High sense of ownership and problem-solving attitude.
7. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar - as a plus.
8. Fluent in English.
