Qualifikationen

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As an Analytics Manager, you develop, enhance and maintain quantitative models while conducting data analytics and documenting results. By collaborating closely together with other teams, you support us in addressing energy trading related questions.

  • Build and improve models to provide insights, such as price forward curves, PPA valuations, RES generation forecasts, risk assessments, trading strategies and optimization tasks.
  • Dive deep into data analytics and gain insights into energy markets on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Collaborate with our Data & IT team to develop a reliable MS Azure data environment with flexible processes.
  • Share your findings by communicating your results clearly to all stakeholders.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • master’s degree or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics or Energy related studies
  • more than 3 years of experience as a quantitative analyst in the energy business, preferably in a trading environment
  • deep knowledge in at least three fields : Statistics, SDE development, Advanced Machine Learning, Monte-Carlo methods, LP / MIP optimization
  • proficiency in Python, SQL and experienced with MS Azure framework
  • strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment
