Our clients are developing projects in Hydrogen production, distribution, and usage in industry and transport. Senior Project Manager / Engineer – Gas Infrastructure with focus on Hydrogen (m/f/d)

As Senior Project Manager / Engineer, you will be responsible for project management and/or technical leadership in close cooperation with clients and our planning teams for projects focused on hydrogen. Your location can be Düsseldorf (preferred), Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Madrid, or Copenhagen and can be partially remote through flexible, self-organized working.

Your role in our team

• Collaborate in international multidisciplinary design and consulting teams
• Participate in tendering, contracting, and commercial management for projects
• Contribute as a specialist to develop innovative solutions
• Assist in preparing reports and presenting project results
• Represent Arup in direct contact with clients and stakeholders
• Ensure the discipline delivers safe, sustainable, cost-effective, compliant, and technically competent deliverables
• Optional: Support team management and development within the company

Your ideal Profile

We welcome applications even if you don’t meet all requirements:

• Engineering university degree in chemistry, civil, mechanical, or process engineering
• 6+ years of experience in industrial gas infrastructure projects
• Practical knowledge of gas infrastructure design, FEED, procurement, construction, commissioning
• Leading roles in national and international projects with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with green hydrogen production, transport, storage, and synthetic fuels
• Knowledge of standards, legal, and regulatory requirements
• Travel flexibility for projects in Germany and abroad
• Fluent German and very good English skills (other locations: local language)
