Application & Product Manager (all genders welcome) for Offshore Engineering Structures
Within our Business Field Critical Infrastructure Integrity, we offer services to ensure the integrity and reliability of Offshore Engineering Structures. We provide a data-driven approach to Structural Integrity Management, enabling lifetime extension for aging offshore facilities. Our holistic approach includes comprehensive engineering services such as fitness for service assessments, risk-based inspections, and structural health monitoring.
What you can expect
- You will have the technical responsibility within our request and development process for specific products and services.
- You will be responsible for the technical application roadmap of your products and services.
- You will drive optimal technology selections for structural health monitoring (SHM) systems for offshore fixed and floating structures in the Oil & Gas and renewable sectors.
- You will orchestrate single or multi-projects within our research and development teams.
- You will develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of related application areas for your products and services.
- You will act as the main contact for internal customers and as an interface between stakeholders and the development team for feedback and changes.
- You will support the transfer of market requirements into technical specifications and provide input for risk assessment processes.
- You will support the establishment and presentation of effective and efficient technical solution proposals.
- You will be responsible for the functionality, usability, and performance of your products and services, ensuring compliance and security.
- You will conduct customer visits to provide technical input and gather field application feedback.
What you bring

- A degree in a relevant technical field such as Offshore, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Several years of professional experience in offshore structural engineering or structural health monitoring.
- Exposure to relevant SHM technologies, including frequency sensors, data acquisition systems, and ancillary systems (power and data communications).
- Experience with data analytics and AI/ML tools.
- Understanding of customer requirements.
- Experience with complex technical requirements.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills.
- Team-oriented collaboration and the ability to coordinate between stakeholders at various levels.
