ETC is currently seeking a Production & Warehouse Manager to join our team in our Irschenberg location.

Representative Responsibilities:

1. Manages shipping/receiving at ETC GmbH
2. Coordinates shipping & receiving activities of Warehouse & Supply Chain personnel.
3. Ensures customer priorities are met and duties are completed on-time
4. Analyzes transportation needs to meet customer’s delivery requirements
5. Develops procedures for the most effective shipment of goods to meet customer needs
6. Coordinates ETC GmbH’s compliance with international customs regulations and laws
7. Coordinates the finished good and service inventory management
8. Manages the vendor/carrier selection process
9. Negotiates rate contracts for primary vendors/carriers both inbound and outbound
10. Aids in the selection of vendors/carriers
11. Establishes routing guidelines for goods, both inbound and outbound
12. Monitors performances of vendors/carriers.
13. Prepares annual budgets & identifies capital needs for ETC GmbH production & logistics
14. Manages the configuration of Rigging and HES equipment based on customer order
15. Plans & schedules FDX production based on customer need
16. Ensures a clean, organized and safe work environment
17. Completes special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion
18. Works with GM on facility maintenance topics

Supervisory Responsibilities:

1. Coordinates and collaborates with other departments of the company in establishing and carrying out responsibilities
2. Develop and maintain positive communication between department and other departments.
3. Performs the hiring, orientation, training, performance management, career development, and overall employee development of department personnel.
4. Formulates, implements & reviews ISO procedures related to the department
5. Instructs employees about procedures and work instructions
6. Informs employees as to company/departmental plans and progress
7. Maintains reporting on all department activities
8. Continue to monitor efficiency in the department and make improvements where appropriate

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in increasingly responsible positions in inventory control, logistics or other related experience.
2. Demonstrated experience in inventory control, logistics, etc.
3. Previous supervisory experience advantageous
4. Completion of formal Export Manager training through an accredited program preferred
5. Knowledge of purchasing principles and practices
6. Knowledge of import and export laws
7. Knowledge of contracts
8. Knowledge of methods used to purchase by specifications and competitive bidding
9. Knowledge of basic receiving/accounting and shipping procedures
10. Strong negotiation skills
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
12. Strong attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills
13. Computer skills: SAP, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
14. Problem solving and creative thinking skills
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Fluent in German & English (written and spoken)
17. Ability to travel frequently between ETC GmbH locations as needed
18. Willingness to travel to the US for training etc. as required
