Working in the Insights & Creation department, you will collaborate across departments to create impactful research content, support brand communication strategies, and establish Stepstone as a trusted voice in the world of work.
You will be vital in reimagining the labor market to make it work for everyone.
Your responsibilities:
- Insights Generation: Manage research projects to uncover labor market trends, producing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
- Data Storytelling & Thought Leadership: Translate complex research findings into compelling narratives that drive content production, enhance external communications, and improve presentations—delivering lasting impact on target audiences.
- Presentations: Represent Stepstone at national and international events by presenting findings clearly and engagingly.
- Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and external stakeholders to align research outputs with business goals and create tailored content for diverse audiences.
- Networking: Build relationships with industry professionals, media, and academic communities to promote Stepstone’s thought leadership.
- Mentoring & Leadership: Oversee and mentor junior researchers, ensuring high standards in methodology and execution.
Qualifications
- A strong academic background with highly developed methodological skills; a PhD in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, sociology, economics, or political science) is preferred.
- Proven experience in labor market research, HR, or related fields.
- Strong skills in data analysis, interpretation, and storytelling.
- Confident in presenting to senior executives and diverse audiences, including on stage.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic, KPI-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into impactful business strategies.
- Experience managing research projects or mentoring team members.
- Fluent in German and English.
