This position is located at Parent & Outreach Services, Wiesbaden, Germany.

Duties
- Receives children, youth, parents, and visitors courteously and professionally. Answers phones, determines the call's purpose, and directs callers appropriately.
- Ensures proper sign-in of parents, children, youth, and visitors before passing the reception area. Monitors children’s departure to ensure only authorized individuals remove them.
- Registers/terminates children/youth in the CYS program and/or waiting list database. Uses the Child and Youth Management System (CYMS) for data entry and reporting.
- Communicates policies related to fees, waiting lists, enrollments, terminations, and events. Coordinates vacancies and reservations for hourly care as needed.
- Provides administrative support, including mail prep, copying, correspondence, reports, and daily activity documentation.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older at the time of appointment.
- Must have direct deposit setup.
- Successful completion of background checks per AR 215-3, 2-15.m., and Child Care Tier 1 investigation is required.
- Current health assessment showing good mental and physical health, immunizations, and absence of communicable diseases per Army and DoD policies, including annual flu vaccination.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Completion of annual training and demonstrated job competence are required.
- May require irregular hours, evenings, or weekends.
- Travel to on- and off-post locations may be necessary.
Qualifications
NF-02:
- Experience in an office setting demonstrating administrative, clerical, customer service, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with office automation tools for document preparation, file management, and record keeping.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
NF-03:
- Experience managing filing systems and official documents such as attendance records and correspondence.
- Customer service and business communication skills.
- Knowledge of grammar and writing techniques for accurate document preparation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and automated databases.
- At least 1 year of experience at the NF-02 level or equivalent.
Highly qualified candidates will have experience with automated systems for childcare operations.
