Description

Cyient Utilities division collaborates with some of the world’s largest utilities companies, providing solutions in GIS (implementation, data management, data intelligence), digital solutions, and emerging areas like DERMS and microgrids.

We are seeking a dedicated sales leader to join our team in Europe. The sales leader will be responsible for building strong client relationships, developing and executing account growth plans, and leading proposals and bids.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing new business opportunities and acquiring new clients within the Utilities market in Europe.
  2. Creating and implementing strategic business plans to expand Cyient’s presence within their portfolio.
  3. Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs.
  4. Identifying market trends, analyzing the competitive landscape, and positioning Cyient’s solutions accordingly.
  5. Preparing rolling forecasts and budgets for revenue and order intake.
  6. Monitoring key metrics such as revenue and order intake.

Requirements:

  • Experience in business development with GIS-based solutions is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to Utilities, OEMs, and partners in the Utilities sector is highly preferred.
  • Ability to craft compelling proposals and commercial models.
  • Strong networking skills to generate business leads.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to work across time zones, especially between Europe and India.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients, partners, and teams.
