Job Description:

As the Head of IT – Key Customer Program, you will be responsible for leading a team and driving IT developments across all functions, IT departments, and global processes for our biggest key customer program. You will be challenged to use your understanding of business processes and IT system architecture to steer the transformation with business partners, IT line leaders, program management, and customer personnel. Success in this role requires leadership skills, strong abstraction capabilities, and problem-solving skills.

Your role

• Analyze and coordinate the development of global processes and requirements with business and IT experts.
• Ensure the implementation of the distributed IT and process architecture for the customer program within time and budget.
• Lead governance for specifications, standardization, and customization needs.
• Monitor implementation to identify deviations and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate requirements, timelines, and progress with program management and customer teams.
• Define and implement countermeasures for escalations.
• Align transformation activities with other ongoing projects within ZEISS Vision Care.

Your profile

• Degree from a leading university in engineering, business, or computer science.
• Experience in change management and complex transformation projects.
• At least 5 years of experience leading process implementation programs involving software, cloud solutions, and SAP, preferably in industry and consulting.
• Proven leadership, team motivation, prioritization, and experience with diverse teams.
• Experience with non-SAP processes in distributed micro-service cloud environments.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, ideally in German.
• Understanding of end-to-end delivery processes and module interdependencies.
• Ability to manage stakeholder requirements regarding standardization and customization.
• Skill in stakeholder management, reducing complexity, and maintaining focus.
• Experience in mentoring, skill development, and training.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environments.
