ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an SAP Delivery Manager to join our EPAM team and engage in technology-driven activities. As an SAP Delivery Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in a leading software engineering and IT consulting company. EPAM has maintained a close relationship with SAP for nearly thirty years, contributing to enterprise product releases and helping SAP bring their products to market. We are now expanding our consulting services in Germany and seek strong technical and functional consulting professionals to join us.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the design and deployment of integrated end-to-end solutions.
2. Establish a strategy for continuous delivery risk management, enabling proactive decisions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
3. Provide technical leadership to ensure a sound, future-proof architecture and that implementation meets quality standards.
4. Communicate the business value of new SAP solutions to clients, demonstrating how design and architecture help achieve business goals.
5. Manage customer expectations and relationships, collaborating with the Account Manager to address issues.
6. Gather feedback from key business users, identify system gaps, and lead implementation of enhancements.
7. Prepare project estimations and develop comprehensive project plans.
8. Ensure governance of processes in delivery management and production according to the delivery model.
9. Act as the primary point of responsibility for delivery matters, including escalations and client interactions.
10. Build delivery timelines, analyzing dependencies across multiple streams.

Requirements

1. Solid knowledge of SAP project methodologies (ASAP, SAP Activate) and their differences.
2. Experience with SAP Solution Manager, with or without Focus Build.
3. Understanding of SAP extension principles and options.
4. Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation approaches.
5. Experience with agile development and related methodologies.
6. High-level understanding of various SAP products and technologies.
7. Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
8. Leadership skills with client interaction experience.
9. Experience in governing project delivery among stakeholders.
10. Up-to-date knowledge of designing and implementing end-to-end SAP solutions.
11. Ability to work effectively with clients and virtual teams, meeting deadlines.
12. Excellent planning and management skills.
13. Profound experience with outsourcing and delivery models.

Nice to have

1. Knowledge of SAP solutions and technologies.
2. Experience with Agile and Scrum software development processes.
3. Understanding of SAP CI/CD approach.
