Shop LC Germany is seeking a highly organized and proactive Broadcast Coordinator to oversee and manage the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of our studio team, including Producers, Directors, Presenters, and Visual Stylists. This pivotal role ensures smooth operations in our live broadcast environment by maintaining team schedules, coordinating changes, and supporting performance tracking and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Shift Planning: Create and manage weekly and monthly shift rosters for Producers, Directors, Presenters, and Visual Stylists in alignment with programming and broadcast requirements.
  2. Resource Management: Identify and arrange replacements in case of unavailability due to leave, absence, or emergencies to ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations.
  3. Coordination & Communication: Serve as the central point of contact for studio team coordination, last-minute changes, and internal communication regarding scheduling and personnel updates.
  4. Performance Coordination: Work with the Broadcast Manager and HR to track attendance, punctuality, and other performance metrics related to scheduling and shift adherence.
  5. Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any shift-related issues or last-minute conflicts to support a seamless studio operation.
  6. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of team schedules, changes, and replacements; prepare regular reports on shift coverage and coordination outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling, coordination, or administrative support—preferably in a broadcast or media production environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and German.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and scheduling software/tools.
  • A flexible, solution-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail.
