As an Engagement Manager at Workday, you are more than just a Project Manager; you are a trusted advisor to our large enterprise customers. You will engage, guide, and ensure success in their implementation of Workday’s leading cloud enterprise software products.

You will empower and drive our customers’ implementations by setting up project planning, staffing, governance, and shaping key project deliverables. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver large and complex Workday deployments successfully. As the main contact for both customer and Workday teams, you will work closely with the Customer Project Manager to resolve issues creatively and effectively, ensuring value delivery on time and within budget, from project start to go-live.

• Project budget and forecast management
• Timely and transparent communication
• Effective team management

About You

The role requires a blend of business skills, customer focus, and leadership to guide and support deployments for success.

Basic Qualifications:

• Languages: German and English
• 5+ years of proven program/project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• 5+ years of experience in HCM, Payroll, Financials, or Supply Chain
• Experience in multinational organizations and ERP implementation
• A balance of functional (business) and technical experience

Other Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating with senior executives
• Leadership abilities to empower and focus project teams
• Proven track record in project management within a professional services environment
• Ability to research customer issues and follow through to resolution
• Experience managing third parties in projects
• Willingness to 'roll up sleeves' and assist wherever needed
