To further strengthen our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team (Automotive MCU) at our Düsseldorf location, we are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Principal Product Marketing Specialist (f/m/d) to drive the growth of our next-generation Automotive MCU Products. We welcome candidates with at least 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Your Role :

1. Support of Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
2. Collect, define, and closely follow up on global customer requirements
3. Coordinate projects with major automotive customers
4. Lead efforts with internal technical marketing and design teams to define and follow up on the roadmap for Renesas microcontroller products
5. Collaborate with internal support teams for Renesas products
6. Work with sales teams to support customer promotion strategies and execution
7. Coordinate and facilitate information exchange with Renesas Japan
8. Report performance indicators (KPIs) to upper management
9. Develop and implement market introduction plans (e.g., lead customers, target market segments/applications) worldwide
10. Ensure the availability and drive the departments responsible for the complete product package (documentation, starter kits, flyers, software) for market introduction, including training the sales force
11. Create marketing materials such as whitepapers, press releases, webinars, etc.

Qualifications

Your profile :

1. 5-10 years of experience in product marketing within the semiconductor industry
2. Experience in the automotive market, with a good understanding of Carmakers and Tier 1 requirements
3. Comprehensive knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and ecosystems
4. Proven track record in product definition and requirement management
5. Good understanding of marketing concepts like Go-To-Market plans and customer expectations
6. Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and capable of working in a multicultural and agile environment
7. Fluent in English (written and spoken); German proficiency is preferable
8. Experience with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office)
9. Ideally experienced in automotive system design, E/E architecture, AI, customer negotiations, handling complex technical RfQs, MCU architecture, networking, functional safety/security, embedded software
