We are looking for someone with extensive SEO experience and a passion for SEO. You‘ll join an acquisition-focused team dedicated to optimising our web presences of our core brand and verticals for SEO Traffic and conversion. You work closely with SEO Specialists and Content Editors to achieve these goals.
What you can expect in this role
- As (Senior) Frontend Engineer, you are part of an agile, cross-functional team and play an active role in improving user experience and traffic conversion.
- You collaborate closely with the Product Manager, UX Designer, SEO Managers, and Content Editors to implement SEO best practices into our web experience.
- You optimise code for performance, ensuring fast load times and responsive design across devices.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and address issues such as crawl errors, broken links, accessibility, and site speed.
- You utilize lean and iterative methods for optimal results, with ambitious quality objectives, and facilitate the entire process from concept development to go live.
- You see yourself as a mentor who empowers colleagues through mutual learning and engages early in the concept phase.
- You stay informed about the latest trends, especially around SEO best practices, and set new impulses in the technical expansion of web applications, driving innovation and development of the tech department.
Your essential experience and education
- You are passionate about SEO and have significant experience, including familiarity with SEO tools and technical analysis like Core Web Vitals and sitemap generation.
- You challenge the status quo and propose new, simplified solutions to problems, with a strong getting-things-done mindset.
- You aim to improve in coding, teamwork, and personal growth, communicating proactively.
- You are a team player, willing to share knowledge, and value open feedback.
- You possess strong communication and collaboration skills, high ownership, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ideally, you have experience integrating CMS solutions, page builders, and caching systems into workflows.
