Jobbeschreibung

The Vestas Service offshore organisation is responsible for all activities related to the operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms in Northern and Central Europe. We currently have several GW under service contracts and are continuously expanding our pipeline and organisation.

The wind farm you will be working at is Baltic Eagle, consisting of 50 Vestas V174-9.5 MW turbines with a total capacity of 475 MW, located northeast off the coast of Rugen Island in the German Baltic Sea. You will be part of an exciting journey, from establishing the service organisation at the site to following operations under the 5-year service contract. The home port is Mukran (CTV project), and you will work on a rotation of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

Your main tasks:
  • Manage and coordinate service operations on site
  • Plan daily service tasks
  • Organize vessel and O&M team transfers
  • Monitor weather forecasts
  • Prepare transfer plans and daily reports
  • Create service work orders in ERP (SAP)
  • Maintain and update the planning board
  • Assist in implementing new procedures and processes
  • Approve technician hours
  • Plan annual service and maintenance
  • Contribute to the Monthly Customer Report
  • Ensure implementation of upgrades
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through quality servicing
  • Ensure compliance with Vestas' Health and Safety Management System
  • Provide general support to the Service Manager
  • Manage and ensure electrical safety works on site
Your qualifications:
  • Electrical degree from a technical school, college, or university
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or with high voltage
  • Experience with wind turbines
  • Proficiency in English and German (reading and writing)
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Full driving license
