Senior SOC Security Analyst (w/m/d)

Location: Köln, Hallbergmoos, Gelnhausen

Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Conduct analysis of cybersecurity incidents such as ransomware and evaluate them.
  • Develop measures to prevent further spread of attacks or complete removal; coordinate with clients and explain technical issues.
  • Proactively develop detection capabilities for cyber threats based on anomalies, generic detection patterns, or incident response insights (Use Cases).
  • Monitor the threat landscape to optimize, operate, and further develop our solutions.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity, IT Security, or related field, plus several years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally in a SOC environment.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems like Cherwell.
  • Experience with SIEM systems, automation (SOAR), programming (Python), and incident response.
  • Skills in vulnerability management, including use of vulnerability scanners and integration into client environments.
  • Knowledge of Endpoint Protection solutions and related processes.
  • Fluent German is mandatory; good English skills are desirable.
