A well-known Japanese manufacturer is looking for an In-house IT Specialist to join their Krefeld Office. The In-house IT Specialist will provide 1st level IT helpdesk support, vendor management, and new ERP system implementation.

IT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITY:
Providing 1st Level IT-Support (Windows, Office, Mobile) to other employees
Developing and implementing IT projects in line with organizational objectives, including new ERP implementation
Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems
Sourcing IT vendors in terms of cost and performance
Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors
Proposing the project and strategy to improve corporate IT environment
Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner
Identifying improvements and developing procedures
Presenting IT solutions in a way that is easy to understand for people who do not have an IT background
Collaborating with other departments for the delivery of agreed targets, taking responsibility for their timely delivery
IT SPECIALIST IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk
Experience in ERP implementation
Experience in IT vendor sourcing and management
Experience providing excellent customer service
Excellent communication skills in German and English
Excellent communication with employees at all levels
Ability to act proactively and suggest new ideas for corporate goals
Ability to assess, prioritize, and manage your own workload
Team player attitude
Commitment to self-development in terms of business application, infrastructure, and IT security
