Job Description: Export Control & GDPR Compliance Officer (m/f/d)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Export Control & GDPR Compliance Officer to ensure our company's adherence to export control laws, trade restrictions, and GDPR requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international trade regulations, data protection laws, and risk management.

Your Responsibilities

Export Control Officer Duties:

• Implement export control policies in line with international laws such as EAR and ITAR.
• Classify products, technologies, and services for export control purposes.
• Manage export license applications and compliance with sanctions and embargoes.
• Maintain accurate export transaction records and serve as the main contact with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and deliver export control training for employees.

GDPR Compliance Officer Duties:

• Ensure GDPR compliance across all data processing activities.
• Develop and implement data protection policies.
• Manage data subject requests and data breaches.
• Conduct GDPR-related audits and DPIAs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Law, International Business, Compliance, Information Security, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in export control compliance and 1 year in data protection roles.
• Certifications such as CECP, CIPP/E are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of export regulations and GDPR.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
