We are looking for you, located in Trier (with 60% home office option) as a
Your responsibilities :
Planning, installation & management of ORBIS environments and periphery during all phases of the Software Lifecycle, from the initial setup of Development, Continuous Integration, QA, and Released Environments to decommissioning.
Operation and maintenance activities include updates, upgrades, installation of additional software, health checks & monitoring, and decommissioning/archiving.
Monitoring of infrastructure, including proactive problem solving to ensure availability of all environments and services.
Analyzing update logs and managing defects related to updates.
Packaging ORBIS software deliveries and executing technical checks to ensure content and quality of software packages meet requirements.
Supporting internal customers in development, quality assurance, and other departments that utilize our systems and services.
Automating workflows in collaboration with our tooling developers.
Onboarding new software into our test environment landscape in cooperation with testers, product owners, and developers.
Your qualifications and skill requirements :
A degree (Bachelor or Master) in computer science or equivalent.
Experience in a service- or customer-oriented professional IT environment.
Over 5 years of IT technical experience, including software administration and/or operation.
Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, etc.), Linux OS, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Interest in and ability to improve workflows and automate activities.
Ability to quickly understand relationships between entities, dependencies, and their impact on infrastructure. Knowledge of GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Terraform, Wildfly is advantageous.
Accurate work with a high standard of quality.
Good self-organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Customer focus and service orientation.
Optional skills include knowledge of additional scripting languages (Python, Go, Groovy), experience with ORBIS operations, Jenkins, and Oracle Database administration.
