Job Description:

At Sanofi CHC, we have one shared mission – we work passionately, every day, to ‘serve healthier, fuller lives’ now and for the generations to come. Everything we do is centered around people – our consumers, our customers, healthcare professionals, and our employees – across the world.

We are on an exciting journey as we have created a fully standalone CHC Business Unit (separating the Business Unit from our Pharma company heritage, processes, etc.), to create an agile, consumer-centric, and responsive organization to deliver our ambition: to become the best Fast Moving Consumer Health (FMCH) company in & for the world.

In October 2020, Global Business Services (GBS) was established as a new transversal, multi-disciplinary function. GBS manages global end-to-end (E2E) processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness by using innovative solutions while simplifying and harmonizing the E2E process delivery.

In 2022, Sanofi's board confirmed the need to establish an autonomous GBS organization by extending to a new Service Line: PEOPLE SERVICES (PPLS).

Therefore, GBS PEOPLE SERVICES is looking for a PPLS Business Partner in Germany. The key missions for this role include:

  • Project Management
  • Administrative/Compliance support

Within People Services, the team is responsible for:

  • Employee Life Cycle (ELC): from hiring to retiring.
  • Master Data Management (MDM): ensuring data accuracy and completeness according to the core model.
  • Time to Pay (T2P): collecting input, entering data, sharing securely, controlling, and managing post payroll activities, including local benefits.
  • Connect to Resolve (C2R): maintaining knowledge articles for employee queries and providing feedback.
  • External Workforce (EWF): collecting and reporting EWF data.

The People Services Business Partner will focus on:

  • PPLS Germany Expert: acting as the People Services expert for Germany, supporting employee and external lifecycle topics, defining quality models, contributing to change management, and representing People Services in leadership meetings.
  • Sanofi Business Services partner: managing transition activities and service agreements.
  • Vendor coordination: liaising with local vendors and implementing governance.
  • Stakeholder management: engaging with finance, internal control, legal, and HR teams to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
  • P&C partner: supporting HR processes, communication, and negotiations.
  • Project management: leading or supporting initiatives impacting German employees.
  • Administrative/Compliance support: managing audits, compliance calendars, GDPR, SOX, and data quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: challenging processes, organizing feedback sessions, and improving knowledge base.
  • Autonomy: supporting the development of an independent People & Culture organization.

Qualifications include a senior profile with team management experience, strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills, ability to work in a complex environment, customer orientation, continuous improvement mindset, and technical skills with HR systems like Workday or ServiceNow. A graduate or master’s degree in HR or related discipline, with at least 3 years of German payroll and HR services experience, is required. Fluency in English and German is essential.

We value diversity and are committed to equal opportunities for all. Join us in making a difference and exploring extraordinary possibilities together.
