About the Role

As E-Commerce Optimization Manager (m/f/d) for Italy and France at Redcare, you will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing search and recommendation features in our online shops for these markets. Your primary goal is to help customers easily find products and information, inspire them, and drive business growth. We use tools such as Algolia and Econda, alongside AI/ML-based services.

This is a part-time role with 28 hours per week. While currently not available as a full-time position, we are open to flexibility: if you’re interested in working slightly more or fewer hours, please apply—we’re happy to discuss suitable working hours.

About Your Tasks

• Monitor and enhance search and recommendation performance, manage daily operations, and develop new ideas to improve functionalities.
• Lead, execute, and evaluate A/B tests to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate proactively in a cross-functional environment with stakeholders in Product Management, Category Management, Retail Media, Analytics, and service providers.
• Stay informed about e-commerce and the pharmaceutical and personal care industry trends in Italy and France.
• Create and utilize dashboards to generate insights, identify customer experience issues, and uncover new opportunities through data-driven analyses.

About You

• You have a degree in Business Administration or a related field, with at least 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce onsite management, product management, analytics, or similar roles.
• You possess strong analytical skills to identify problems, propose solutions, and manage complex tasks, with technical aptitude for tools. Experience with search and recommendation management tools is a plus.
• You have excellent communication skills, capable of conveying meaningful insights to peers, stakeholders, and partners. Fluency in English, with some knowledge of Italian and/or French; German is a plus.
• You bring a solid business mindset, with insights into the Italian and/or French markets—especially in health, personal care, or beauty sectors—enabling you to anticipate and navigate relevant trends.
• You are mostly remote but open to joining your team in Cologne twice a month.
