Organization
The Renewable Energy Portfolio is part of a global investment entity, dedicated to investing in Renewable Energy projects to achieve ambitious sustainability targets. The Renewable Energy team is responsible for managing and developing numerous wind and solar farms across multiple countries, with plans to triple its capacity by 2030.

Solutions Team
The Solutions team comprises Microsoft architects, developers, and engineers focused on developing and maintaining business asset management solutions for the Renewables team. The team aims to centralize asset data, automate processes, and enhance electricity production, reduce operational costs, and increase energy sale revenue of renewable assets. Additionally, the team manages its own Office365, PowerPlatform, Dynamics, and Azure tenants, working closely with external partners to accelerate development.

Role Overview
The ideal candidate will serve as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant, responsible for understanding business requirements related to Base Accounting, purchase-to-pay processes, and reporting across various countries. The role involves providing functional support to business users and working closely with Dynamics Technical Architects, stakeholders, and implementation partners.

Responsibilities

1. Design and drive Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business requirements.
2. Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
3. Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
4. Develop functional specifications for customizations, integrations, and reports.
5. Implement best practices for financial and operational processes within the system.
6. Create and maintain functional documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders, technical architects, and developers to ensure consistent and sustainable solutions integrated with other systems.
8. Manage external resources during the development of portfolio solutions to deliver according to the defined architecture and hand-over plans.
9. Stay current with Dynamics 365 features and capabilities, leveraging new functionality to improve business processes.
10. Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with Dynamics 365 implementations.
11. Assist stakeholders with functional issues related to Dynamics 365.

Requirements

1. University degree in computer science, finance, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience as a Dynamics Functional Consultant.
3. Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O accounting, taxes, reporting, and purchase-to-pay modules.
4. Experience configuring and implementing Dynamics 365 solutions across several countries and business units.
5. Experience integrating Dynamics 365 solutions with other systems and applications.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. International experience and an understanding of cultural differences.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Fluent in English (written and spoken) and comfortable working across language barriers.

Location: Hybrid (Leiden office)

Types of contract: Freelance, Full-time or contract to hire

Working Hours/Schedule: 9:00 – 17:00
