Team / division overview
The CFO Division of DWS has presence in Frankfurt, London, New York and Asia and is responsible for ensuring the sound risk management and financial governance of DWS. The CFO Division comprises Risk, Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Tax, Treasury, Finance Director teams for the Investment Platform, Coverage and Infrastructure functions and the Chief Operating Office (COO) team.
Your responsibilities
As our Finance Manager Compensation Control | Assistant Vice President, you will:
- Produce monthly MI vs Plan, prior periods and Forecast including comments on key drivers
- Perform monthly validations and controls
- Report and investigate errors above threshold
- Answer queries from internal DWS and DB stakeholders and collaboration with external stakeholders and service providers
- Support interim and annual report disclosure on employee benefits
- Preparing relevant documentation and regular updates of the DWS Compensation Control Framework
We are looking for- High caliber qualified accountant who has experience in financial controller role or auditor role in a large financial institution/ Big 4 audit firms
- Prior experience with IAS19 and IFRS2 preferred
- High level of control mindset and investigative working approach
- Ability to connect various topics and recognise relationships that impact the overall compensation book of work
- Highly analytical, excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proactive, willingness to challenge the status quo and keen to learn new skills/ knowledge
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Strong skills in Excel and Power Point
- Curious, possesses a control mind-set, and has can-do attitude
