Jobbeschreibung

For the Domain Architecture area at DWS, we are seeking experienced Domain Architects to strengthen our team. Candidates should have a strong Asset Management background, particularly within Corporate Functions and the CFO area, combined with broad architectural and technical expertise.

As a domain architect, you will collaborate closely with responsible personnel across various Corporate Functions, focusing on supporting the CFO space. Your role will involve defining and supporting strategic and technical directions, modernizing and harmonizing systems and applications, and serving as the primary link between business units and IT. You will work with other IT domains, including the Chief Architect, Head of Solution Architecture, Head of Enterprise Architecture, and Head of Cloud Architecture, to develop and implement aligned strategic solutions.

Your responsibilities will include discussing new business use cases and functional requirements with business units and deriving strategic initiatives to enhance capabilities, functionality, or optimize and harmonize systems for cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Work with business units to define and articulate the business and domain architecture.
2. Define and align current and future architecture with business functions.
3. Oversee business applications within the domain as the domain architect.
4. Manage the Information Domain (KAIT) within the domain.
5. Support business areas in defining new project demands and facilitate navigation through budgeting and delivery processes.

Functional Role Title: Senior Technology Specialist

We are looking for:

• Extensive experience in Asset Management, especially within Corporate Functions and CFO.
• Significant experience as an IT Architect.
• Deep understanding of modern architectural concepts such as SOA, Data Mesh/Data Product, Observability, event-driven architecture, Lambda-, Kappa-, Delta/Medallion-Architectures.
• Strong technical experience with SAP-HANA and SAP-BW.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, SAFe 6.0, or experience working in organizations/projects following these frameworks.
• Knowledge of Data Quality Management concepts including Data Integrity, Profiling, Traceability, and Auditability.
• Understanding of relevant local and global regulations impacting IT delivery and decision-making.
