Responsibilities
- Consulting with line management and providing daily HR guidance and analyzing trends and metrics with the HR department.
- Resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention by fostering a positive work environment, addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and promoting open communication.
- Supporting the design and implementation of performance management processes, providing guidance on goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Providing guidance and support during organizational changes, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring initiatives.
- Collaborating with training specialists to assess training needs, design development programs, and deliver training sessions to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Utilizing HR analytics to provide insights and recommendations for informed decision-making, such as turnover analysis, workforce planning, and diversity initiatives, and preparing monthly FTE reports / FTE Planning.
- Staying updated on labor laws and regulations in Germany, ensuring HR policies, procedures, and practices are compliant and up to date, and providing labor law guidance / compliance to business.
- Assisting in the management of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and internal equity, and close collaboration with payrolling and payrolling provider to assure smooth processing.
- Suggesting new HR strategies in line with overall business strategy and goals and assuring continuous improvement of HR processes and involvement in HR projects.
Profile
- You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is advantageous.
- You bring proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- You have in-depth knowledge of German labor laws, regulations, and employment practices.
- You have demonstrated expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
- You are proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and MS Office Suite.
- You are fluent in English and German, both written and verbal.
- You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- You are a strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions.
