The Leveraged Finance Team provides all financing solutions to private equity clients and is a well-established leading player in the European & German LBO market, consistently ranked amongst the Top 3 in the respective Bookrunner League Tables.

For our German CLF team, we are looking for a

Vice President / Director - Senior Originator - Corporate and Leveraged Finance (f / m / d)

Your mission

Actively originate and structure new transactions within the CLF-Corporates scope and execute these transactions independently.

Your key responsibilities

Origination phase

1. Establish strong working relationships with the CLF (Origination) and DAR (Syndicate) teams, senior bankers, and other business lines for a seamless and successful origination process, as well as with clients outside the bank.
2. Maintain close relationships with legal and debt advisors and other banks in the region.
3. Generate ideas and prepare (acquisition) financing pitches in close collaboration with other business lines of the bank (DAR, DCM, ECM, GIB, Rating Advisory) and with other product lines within CLF (LBO and telecoms).
4. Participate in client meetings with senior bankers and other business lines.

Execution phase

1. Prepare and review financial models, focusing on cash flow analysis and financial projections, including the assessment of clients' (rating-based) debt capacity and identification of ideal financing structures.
2. Draft CLF requests (risk analysis, sector analysis, transaction structure, development of bank cases and sensitivity cases, etc.) and coordinate the credit process while working with various departments such as syndication, credit, and capital market.
3. Prepare the AFA business opportunity memorandum ("BOM") for senior management.
4. Draft/negotiatemandate and commitment papers (particularly term sheets) and negotiate loan documentation with the client and/or lawyer (doc agent role).
5. Assist DAR Sales teams in the syndication process (including preparation of an information memorandum and managing the Q&A process).
