Overview

We are looking for you for a dual study program in mechanical engineering in combination with an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Augsburg from 01.09.2026.

You want to combine university studies with practical work and are interested in a comprehensive education in engineering. You will earn a bachelor’s degree while completing vocational training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d). Theory and practice go hand in hand.

What can you expect during your studies?

• In the first year of the apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of industrial mechanics (m/f/d) with a focus on metalworking and component manufacturing.
• From the 2nd year, your studies at the university run in parallel with your training. During the semester you attend university for your studies, and during semester breaks you gain practical experience at our company.
• At the end of the 4th semester, you will take your final apprenticeship exam, followed by a practical semester, in-depth studies and your Bachelor’s thesis.
• Our dedicated trainers will support you with all questions and challenges.
• Your tasks include, for example:
• Manufacturing components and assemblies and learning basic metalworking skills
• Interpreting technical documents such as drawings
• Maintaining technical systems and dealing with control technology
• Topics such as mechanics, design and manufacturing processes

The dual study program lasts 4.5 years.
