Job Description:
MAJOR FUNCTION

The Dual Enrollment Coordinator is housed within the Admissions and Records and reports to the Director of Recruiting and Admission. The role involves independent and specialized work in dual credit programs, including recruitment, advisement, student admission, registration, and transition activities.

Primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
Admissions, Registration and Enrollment Duties:
  • Develop yearly dual enrollment calendar and establish timelines and processes for recruitment, enrollment, retention, and reporting, including application, testing, registration, and roster deadlines.
  • Assist with administration of CTE and dual enrollment programs following policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with college departments: Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Advising.
  • Build effective relations with high school personnel and facilitate student transition from high school to college; maintain student files and update enrollment status.
  • Work with Academic Affairs to develop and maintain CTE and dual enrollment classes, services, and community maps.
  • Supervise enrollment processes for dual credit programs, including high school relations, student registration, and matriculation.
  • Manage class rosters, initiate drop/add procedures, and ensure registration in the college system.
  • Generate reports on enrollment, costs, and outcomes; support grade and record management.
  • Coordinate placement testing in partner schools or at TCC.
  • Maintain a database of post-high school enrollees for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure records comply with regulations and prepare reports for state and federal agencies.
  • Organize events like campus tours, registration, and orientations for dual credit students.
Advising Duties:
  • Assist in planning and scheduling dual enrollment courses and creating academic maps.
Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of FLDOE rules and regulations regarding financial aid.

Minimum Training/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution and three years of relevant experience (five preferred), including at least one in a dual enrollment setting. Master’s degree is preferred and can substitute for one year of experience, but not for dual enrollment experience.
