Job Description

For our aerospace projects in Bayern, our teams are actively looking for FPGA Developers (M/W/D). The position is to be filled as soon as possible.

Your tasks will include:

1. Participating in the development of FPGA for embedded systems for aviation applications
2. Executing and coordinating tasks for the development of software applications
3. Implementing technical requirements and detailed specifications for the optimal use of hardware architecture, modules, and FPGA control systems
4. Programming, commissioning, and testing of board support packages for electronic control units and/or applications
5. Carrying out FPGA reviews for requirements analysis and conceptual/detail design
6. Evaluating, documenting, and communicating verification results
7. Creating, testing, and evaluating security concepts and analyses
8. Supporting the development of software strategies
9. Collaborating in interdisciplinary development teams

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, electronics, or similar qualification
• Experience in software development in the aviation sector (desirable)
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Proven experience in the development of embedded systems
• Proven experience with FPGA technology and FPGA tools (e.g., VHDL, Verilog)
• Experience with model-based software development methods and tools (e.g., Matlab/Simulink) (desirable)
• Knowledge of FPGA verification
• Experience in FPGA development in the aerospace industry (DO) (desirable)
