Job Description:

Corporate Bank (CB) Technology

CB Technology is a global team of technology specialists, spread across multiple financial centers and technology centres. We focus on promoting technical excellence, with our engineers working at the forefront of financial services innovation using cutting-edge technologies.

The Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Bank Technology, holds a leadership role responsible for driving the day-to-day operations of the CB Technology division. They partner with the Head of the Division (CIO Corporate Bank Technology) to develop and execute the divisional strategy. They oversee the development and deployment of divisional budgets, manage technology relationships, address program challenges, provide thought leadership, and facilitate collaboration across organizational boundaries.

Your key responsibilities

  1. Advise on strategy and priorities aligned with Group goals and oversee execution.
  2. Drive organizational setup and Target Operating Model to deliver the mandate, including workforce composition and location.
  3. Manage budgets, FTEs, enforce cost controls, and drive efficiencies and resource strategies.
  4. Actively manage efficiency and capacity KPIs and drivers.
  5. Lead monthly and annual forecast planning processes.
  6. Drive divisional people strategy, including culture and talent development.
  7. Coordinate with HR on hiring, talent management, DEI initiatives, succession planning, and promotions.
  8. Manage the annual compensation process.
  9. Identify opportunities for change and set change priorities with Executive Committee and partners.
  10. Provide expertise to change execution teams and ensure realization of benefits from change initiatives.
