Distribution Sales Manager - Europe

Job Summary :
This role within the commercial arm of our client is responsible for growing sales through the existing international distribution network and developing new opportunities to expand market share and presence across Europe by onboarding new distribution partners.
The job holder will promote and adhere to the company values of quality and compliance with current legislation.
Essential Job Functions :
- Create comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth in the European market.
- Drive sales to achieve revenue and profitability goals by managing, supporting, and training distributors across Europe.
- Manage the performance of existing distributors, including evaluating, recruiting, terminating, and adjusting territories to meet financial and market penetration goals.
- Act as the key point of contact for sales feedback within the business, liaising with marketing and product development to support brand building and product strategy.
- Research competitors and maintain in-depth knowledge of existing products and services in pre-hospital and trauma care sectors; conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and threats.
- Actively pursue new business development opportunities to expand customer bases.
- Support and expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Gather customer feedback via surveys and other communication channels to assist the QA team in post-market surveillance activities.
- Provide competitive intelligence, including bid situations, pricing data, and bundling arrangements, to establish negotiated pricing contracts.
- Analyze and report on sales data from the field to help develop strategies and products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate issues with key clients across sales, support, customer service, marketing, and finance.
- Attend industry conferences and stay informed about health service activities in relevant areas.
- Participate in regular internal product training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in sales management of medical and/or tactical devices distributors within military and civilian markets in Europe.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of sales techniques, strategies, distributor management, and methodologies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Fluent or business proficiency in commonly used EU languages such as English, German, French, or Spanish.
- Experience with business customs in various EU markets.

Other Requirements :
- High amount of business travel required, approximately 50% of the time.
