Jobbeschreibung

A role within the commercial arm of our client, responsible for growing sales through the existing international distribution network as well as developing new opportunities to expand market share and presence across Europe by onboarding new distribution partners.

The job holder must promote and adhere to the company values of quality and compliance with current legislation.

Essential Job Functions:

The job holder will undertake some or all (but not limited to) of the following responsibilities:

  1. Creating comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth in the European market.
  2. Driving sales to achieve revenue and profitability goals by managing, supporting, and training distributors across the European market.
  3. Managing the performance of existing distributors, including evaluating, recruiting, terminating, and adjusting territories to meet financial and market penetration goals.
  4. Acting as the key point of contact for sales feedback within the business, liaising with marketing and product development to support brand building and product strategy.
  5. Researching competitors and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of existing products and services in the pre-hospital and trauma care sectors, conducting market research to identify opportunities, trends, and threats.
  6. Engaging in new business development to expand to new customer bases.
  7. Supporting and expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction and ensure regulatory compliance.
  8. Gathering customer feedback via surveys and communication to assist the QA team in post-market surveillance activities.
  9. Providing competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements to establish negotiated pricing contracts.
  10. Gathering, analyzing, and delivering field information and sales data/reports to management for strategy and product development.
  11. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinating issues with key clients across sales, service, support, marketing, and finance.
  12. Attending conferences and industry events.
  13. Staying informed about health service activities in relevant areas and improving product knowledge and sales techniques.
  14. Participating in regular internal product training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales management of medical and/or tactical devices within military and civilian markets in Europe.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of sales techniques, distributor management, and sales methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Fluent or business proficiency in EU languages such as English, German, French, or Spanish.
  • Experience with business customs across various EU markets.

Demonstrates ownership and accountability; the ability to plan, execute, control, and deliver; effective written and verbal communication; leadership and influence skills.

Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain an appropriate work pace, comprehend and follow instructions, exercise logic and reasoning, organize and prioritize tasks, read and write effectively, communicate verbally, problem-solve, make decisions, analyze data, multi-task, and handle interruptions. Maintains high standards of professionalism and emotional intelligence, even in stressful situations.
Other Requirements:
  • Approximately 50% business travel required.
  • Must align with our client’s culture and responsibly manage travel resources and expenses.
