We are looking for a Distribution Sales Manager responsible for coordinating with distributors to expand Barracuda’s customer base and acquire net new customers. In this role, you will establish and maintain relationships with distribution partners, manage distribution coverage, and work along with the local sales team to develop partner sales opportunities.
What you will be working on:
- Coordinates with distributors to grow Barracuda’s customer base through expansion and acquisition of net-new partners, including resellers and MSPs.
- Supports sales development and management of Barracuda brand products, including channel development, MSP development, management, and training.
- Meets regional and individual sales objectives with accurate forecasting, working with account executives, and consistently outperforming sales quotas.
- Collaborates with the local sales team and partners for sales development and management of Barracuda brand products.
- Executes action plans and manages relationships with C-Level and senior-level contacts within organizations.
- Tracks distributor performance by reviewing pipeline and accounts for processing orders with available credit and minimal errors.
- Works with local sales teams and system integrators for sales development and management of Barracuda brand products.
- Provides training and resources to help distributors and junior team members understand how to use Barracuda products and services effectively.
- Leverages specialized distribution knowledge to address a variety of issues and projects within the team.
- Works in a project-oriented manner, contributing towards team goals, and collaborates with multiple teams to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
What you bring to the role:
- 5+ years of experience in account management, channel management, vendor management, sales, or distribution.
- Proven success working with MSPs or channel partners.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally across sales, channel, product, and marketing teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset.
