Jobbeschreibung

A role within the commercial arm of our Client, responsible for growing sales through the existing international distribution network as well as developing new opportunities to expand market share and presence across Europe by onboarding new distribution partners.

The job holder is expected to promote and adhere to the company values of quality and compliance with current legislation.

Essential Job Functions :

The job holder will undertake some or all (but not limited to) of the following responsibilities :

  1. Creating comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth in the European market.
  2. Driving sales to achieve revenue and profitability goals by managing, supporting, and training distributors across Europe.
  3. Managing the performance of existing distributors, including evaluating, recruiting, terminating, and adjusting territories to meet financial and market penetration goals.
  4. Acting as the key contact for sales feedback within the business. Liaising with marketing and product development to support brand building and product strategy.
  5. Researching competitors and maintaining in-depth knowledge of existing products and services in pre-hospital and trauma care sectors. Conducting market research to identify opportunities, trends, and threats.
  6. Engaging in new business development to expand to new customer bases.
  7. Supporting and expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction and ensure regulatory compliance.
  8. Gathering customer feedback via surveys and communication to assist the QA team in post-market surveillance activities.
  9. Providing competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements to establish negotiated pricing contracts.
  10. Gathering, analyzing, and delivering field information and sales data/reports to management for strategic planning.
  11. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinating issues with key clients across sales, service, support, marketing, and finance.
  12. Attending conferences and staying informed about activities of health services in relevant areas.
  13. Improving own product knowledge and sales techniques through regular training and self-education.
Qualifications :
  • Proven experience in sales management of medical and/or tactical devices distributors within European military and civilian markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of sales techniques, strategies, distributor management, and methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Fluency or business proficiency in commonly used EU languages (English, German, French, Spanish).
  • Experience with business customs across various EU markets.

Demonstrates ownership, accountability, effective planning, execution, communication, leadership, and influence skills.

Mental Requirements :
  • Ability to maintain an appropriate work pace, comprehend instructions, exercise logic, organize, read, write, communicate verbally, problem-solve, analyze data, and handle interruptions.
  • Maintaining high standards of professional maturity and emotional intelligence, even in stressful situations.
Other Requirements :
  • Approximately 50% business travel required; must align with the Client’s culture and manage resources responsibly regarding travel and expenses.
