Job Description

Fotografiska is the Contemporary Museum of Photography, Arts, and Culture. A destination to discover world-class photography, inspiring programming, elevated dining, and surprising new experiences. Founded in Stockholm in 2010, it has expanded to NYC, Tallinn, and Berlin (opening in 2023). Fotografiska aims to inspire new perspectives for a more conscious world through photography, fostering discovery, experience, impact, and community.

Slated to open in 2023, the Berlin location will be housed in a historic cultural landmark, featuring a mix of art, cultural programming, and dining across 5,500 square meters. Renovations will preserve the cultural heritage of the site.

The Role

The Fotografiska Dishwashers support culinary excellence by organizing and coordinating kitchen operations. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Verōnika Chef de Cuisine, they are responsible for cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment, preparing menu items as outlined by the culinary team, and ensuring high-quality service for Cafe and Verōnika Restaurant & Bar guests. The team operates with a mindset of “no task is too small,” and Dishwashers should be adaptable, supporting all departments to enhance member and guest experiences.

Requirements

• Prior experience is desirable but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and effective teamwork skills.
• German or English speaking.
• EU work permit required.
