Your mission
- Technical and disciplinary management of the supply chain team consisting of six employees in the areas of purchasing, operational and strategic procurement, supply chain, and logistics.
- Operational and strategic planning and implementation of all department-related tasks, including resource planning.
- Development and implementation of innovative supply chain solutions, including active negotiation with strategic partners and suppliers.
- Establishment and maintenance of long-term supplier relationships through targeted communication, personal presence, and remote contact.
- Optimization of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, material management, and data analysis.
- Quality assurance along the supply chain in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Initiating cross-functional process optimizations, with recommendations for organizational and strategic changes.
- Internal training and coaching of teams.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvementin line with our corporate values.
- Dual reporting to the Vice President Supply Chain in the US and our CTO in Germany.
Your profile
- Completed bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, ideally with a focus on supply chain, business administration, or engineering.
- Several years of professional experience in supply chain—preferably in medical technology, the pharmaceutical industry, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Experience with complex contract negotiations with suppliers and external service providers.
- Leadership experience with a strong ability to develop employees and teams and promote individual strengths in a targeted manner.
- Confident communication skills at the operational and strategic level.
- Very good German skills (C1) and confident English skills (at least B2) in writing and speaking.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
