Your role as Director, RWD Scientist

In this key leadership role, you will provide statistical input and oversee Real World Data analyses that are critical for various healthcare initiatives. You will architect and design data analytics solutions, utilising advanced techniques such as predictive modeling and data mining. You will collaborate closely with study teams, write statistical sections of study protocols, and communicate results to stakeholders, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and compliance.

• Provide statistical input and lead the analysis of RWD/RWE for clinical development, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory purposes
• Architect and design data analytics solutions using predictive modeling, data mining, and visualisation techniques
• Write statistical sections of study protocols and implement statistical analysis plans
• Process and analyse large real-world datasets for various studies and applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and defend data analytics standards
• Communicate results effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
• Apply advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), to enhance data insights

Experience and qualifications for the Director, RWD Scientist role

• Doctoral or Master's degree (PhD, MSc) in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, or a related field
• 4-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically working with RWD/RWE
• Proven experience writing and implementing statistical analysis plans for studies
• Expertise in processing and analysing large real-world datasets
• Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI methodologies is a plus
• Proficiency in R programming is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present scientific evidence to peers and stakeholders
